1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Main Nutrition ("Main Nutrition", "Company", "we", "us"). These Terms govern your access to and use of our web application (mainnutrition.app), API endpoints, mobile interfaces, and AI-driven dietary services (collectively, the "Platform").

By clicking "Sign In", creating an account, or otherwise using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all terms, do not access or use the Platform.

2. Eligibility & Account Security

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in certain jurisdictions, including the European Union) to create an account or use this Platform. If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Platform under parental or legal guardian supervision.
• Account Authenticity: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your profile updated.
• Credential Protection: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials (including your Google OAuth session) and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access.

3. Service Description & AI Vision Estimates

Main Nutrition provides intelligent nutrition logging, AI-assisted meal photo analysis via Google Gemini Vision, intermittent fasting clocks, Safe Choice additive screening, and wearable health synchronization (Google Fit & Apple Health).

Actual nutrient composition in real-world food items varies based on specific cooking methods, oils, seasonings, brand formulations, and agricultural factors.

4. Non-Medical Advice Statement

Always consult a licensed physician, registered dietitian, or qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new diet, extreme caloric restriction, prolonged intermittent fasting regimen, or intense fitness routine. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by Main Nutrition.

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Refund Policy

Main Nutrition offers both free baseline features and premium subscription tiers (e.g., Pro, Unlimited AI Vision, Nutri-Agent Concierge):

A. Billing & Payment Processing

• All subscription purchases, renewals, and payment transactions are processed securely through Stripe, Inc.
• By subscribing, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge the designated payment method on a recurring monthly or annual billing cycle until cancelled.

B. Automatic Renewal & Cancellation

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through the in-app Settings → Subscription Portal or Stripe Customer Portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your paid tier features until the conclusion of the current prepaid billing period.

C. Refund Policy

• Except where required by statutory consumer protection laws (such as statutory EU cooling-off rights), all subscription payments are non-refundable. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial subscription periods.

6. Intellectual Property & User Content

• Platform IP: All software, code, algorithms, user interfaces, branding, audio assets, and visual themes (including the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Zone and Cyberpunk skins) are the exclusive intellectual property of Main Nutrition and its licensors.
• User Content License: You retain ownership of any meal photographs, text notes, or personal logs you upload. By submitting content, you grant Main Nutrition a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, analyze, and format your content solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service for your account.

7. Prohibited Uses & Conduct

When using Main Nutrition, you agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code or underlying AI models from the Platform.
• Scrape, spider, crawl, or harvest data or meal databases using automated means without our explicit written consent.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on our server proxies, Firebase database instances, or network infrastructure.
• Bypass security controls, authentication rules, or rate-limiting safeguards.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, corrupted images, or offensive content.

8. Third-Party Integrations & Google Fit

The Platform integrates with third-party services including Google Cloud, Google Fit, Apple HealthKit, and Stripe. Your interaction with these third-party platforms is governed by their respective terms and privacy statements.

9. Warranties & Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT NUTRITIONAL CALCULATIONS, ALLERGEN SCREENINGS, OR AI INSIGHTS WILL BE ERROR-FREE, 100% ACCURATE, OR APPLICABLE TO YOUR SPECIFIC PHYSIOLOGICAL NEEDS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MAIN NUTRITION, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, DIETARY COMPLICATIONS, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50.00 USD) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Main Nutrition, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

12. Termination & Account Purge

You may terminate your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach any provision of these Terms or engage in abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to your use of the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California and applicable federal laws of the United States, without giving effect to conflict of law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be settled through binding individual arbitration.
